Satisfaction is the difference between expectation and reality.

Over-hyping your brand heightens expectations and leaves you less room for ‘upside’, resulting in a diminished potential for satisfaction.

Of course, underplaying the brand may leave people totally disinterested.

The trick is to manage expectations appropriately, and leave yourself sufficient scope for satisfaction.
