remixing in the tangible world

Remixing content – taking inspiration from other people’s ideas and delivering your own version – is nothing new, particularly when it comes to music and blogging.

But the phenomenon is spreading into the world of tangible products as well, as this collection of  repackaged malt whiskies shows.

My Swedish isn’t that great (and the translated version left me even more perplexed), but apparently, these are rebottled miniatures of Ardbeg, Caol Ila, and Laphroaig.

I love each of these brands in their usual incarnations, but these bottles offer a way to renew my relationship with the brands all over again.

A trend to keep your eye on.
